FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
“It is with great sadness that we learned today of the loss of eleven United Nations peacekeepers in a plane crash in Haiti.
The victims, from Uruguay and Jordan, were conducting critical work for the UN mission in Haiti. We extend our deepest condolences to the families of these brave peacekeepers. Our thoughts and prayers are with them in this difficult time.”
