U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice will travel to Israel on Monday, October 19. On Wednesday, Ambassador Rice will represent the Obama Administration and deliver remarks to the 2009 Israeli Presidential Conference hosted by President Shimon Peres. The name of the conference this year is “Facing Tomorrow,” and Ambassador Rice’s remarks will focus on our common vision of a better future that is possible with resolve and collective action. Ambassador Rice will also hold bilateral discussions with leaders of the Government of Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
