President Trump is in New York to mark the opening of the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly. The United States will use the UNGA 72 as a forum to address the most serious threats to peace and security, promote prosperity, and advocate for accountability, including by fostering comprehensive reform to make the UN a more efficient and effective institution. The United States will engage multilaterally and bilaterally to advance five key policy priorities: North Korea, Syria, counterterrorism, UN reform, and humanitarian assistance. Follow along:
